The Brazilian phenomenon Neymar Jr broadens his horizons. Already an icon of world football, the Santos player is now embarking on a new major project: the paddle. Through the creation of the Ecossistema complex Neymar Jr, located in the smart city Porto Belo Lagos (Brazil).
A titanic project signed by Neymar and his family
Officially announced by NR Sports et JTA, the project Ecossistema Neymar Jr will be born in the heart of a space of almost a million square meters. This sports complex of 14 000 m² will welcome padel courts, Beach tennis, training center, football field as well as gastronomic and commercial spacesIt will also house an exclusive space called NJ Experience, designed as a place of immersion around the Neymar Jr. brand.
The Brazilian international and his father, Neymar Sr, are involved in “each stage of the project”: from design to strategic vision. “This complex reflects excellence, family and passion for sport,” explains the official press release. The opening is scheduled for 2027, with a first phase of work already underway.
Padel, the Brazilian star's new passion
Already seen several times on padel courts in Brazil and Paris, Neymar Jr joins the list of global stars seduced by this growing sport. As Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Leo Messi, Zinedine Zidane or, Sergio Agüero.
The Porto Belo complex is part of a broader concept: that of a smart city, designed to reconcile ecology, connectivity and quality of life. Through this project, Neymar and his partners intend to create a place capable of attracting athletes, families and tourists from all over the world. Ecossistema Neymar Jr aims to become a major sporting and cultural destination in Brazil, but also an international showcase for padel.







Neymar Jr.'s entry into the world of padel confirms the sport's rise to prominence, already embraced by numerous figures in sports and show business. By leveraging his image, notoriety, and global network, the Brazilian is helping to boost padel's visibility and accelerate its professionalization.
