After more than six months spent together on the international circuit,  Nicolas Rouanet  and the Belgian  Isaac huysveld  have decided to end their partnership. The separation was announced by the Frenchman on his social media, citing  personal reasons , while acknowledging the shared journey and the highlights experienced as a team.

A first international title as a crowning achievement

The Franco-Belgian duo will nonetheless have made their mark in 2025 by winning  their first international title  on the FIP circuit, at  FIP Bronze Evo in Italy last October A pivotal victory for both players, symbolizing their progress.

Beyond this trophy, their collaboration was marked by  several quarter-finals in FIP Silver .

 Results are losing momentum

In recent weeks, however, the momentum had lost steam, with earlier eliminations, starting with the  round of 32 or round of 16 , below the set objectives.

The two players will compete  their last tournament together at the FIP Silver in Espoo, Finland , with the aim of ending this adventure on a high note.

 A strong and respectful message

In his message, Nicolas Rouanet made a point of thanking his now former partner, mentioning  the highs, the lows, and above all, the title won together while wishing him all the best for the future.

What future awaits Rouanet on the FIP Tour?

The question now remains of  next partner  of the French on the international circuit. Most of the French players regularly competing in the FIP seem to already be involved in stable projects, which leaves few options, so will he start again on a  new international association , continuing his work with Huysveld?

One thing is certain: with a first international title under his belt and experience accumulated on the FIP Silver circuit, Nicolas Rouanet now has...  solid foundations to launch a new cycle .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
