The challenges for public health are major

The public health challenges, supported by our activities, are therefore major, especially for adults.

Our outdoor activities do not create a mix and do not constitute vectors of transmission, as was recognized by the High Council of Public Health last April. Our health protocols are therefore ready to be reactivated and even strengthened, should this prove necessary.

Our Federations vouch for the supervision of practitioners during their activities. They have proven their commitment by giving their full support to government decisions, including ensuring their respect in the structures.

At a time when the dialogue with the public authorities is continuing with the prospect of a gradual reopening of certain businesses, it seems important to us to stress that the French would not understand that outdoor sports activities and clubs remain closed or reserved for certain age categories, as for indoor sports, even though our activities do not generate any specific risk of contamination.

In such a case, the Federations in charge of organizing these activities would have theThe greatest difficulties in carrying out pedagogy and to force their members to respect the rules of confinement.
