With the strong growth of padel in France, more and more clubs are interested in organizing tournaments. But one question often arises: do you have to pay to register a tournament with the FFT? And if so, how much does it cost? Here are the answers.

 Probate fees: a compulsory contribution 

Clubs must pay the French Tennis Federation (FFT) an approval fee for each tournament organized. These fees are collected automatically after approval has been validated by the FFT or the league.

The end date of the tournament determines the year of approval concerned.

Rates are set by the FFT and cannot be increased. In other words, no additional costs are possible, regardless of the region or club.

Please note: if a tournament includes several events (for example, a men's draw and a mixed draw), only one tax is applied, and only the highest category is taken into account.

No, organizing a padel tournament is not free for clubs, with the exception of youth tournaments. However, the cost remains moderate, especially compared to the overall organization costs (rental, balls, refereeing, etc.).
