The Malaga tournament enters its decisive phase this Saturday, July 19, with  semi-finals  which promise a spectacle for both the women and men. And good news for fans: all the matches are  to follow live on the official YouTube channel of Premier Padel .

 Women's side: unexpected posters

The Andalusian tournament has booked  its share of surprises , with the elimination of three seeded players in the quarter-finals:  Josemaría / Sanchez ,  Triay / Brea  et  Araújo / Ustero .

 Ortega / Icardo [TS5] vs Jensen / Alonso [TS7]
An explosive semifinal between two pairs in great form. Icardo and Ortega pulled off the feat of knocking out the world number ones after a three-hour battle. On the other side, Jensen and Alonso dominated Araújo and Ustero with authority.

 Salazar/Calvo vs González/Fernández [TS3]
Legendary Alejandra Salazar and young Martina Calvo, in a breakthrough role, face a well-established pair. Bea González will play at home alongside Claudia Fernández.

Men's side: the big names are there

No surprises in the men's draw: the four best pairs of the tournament will be present for the semi-finals.

 Chingotto / Galán [TS2] vs Yanguas / Nieto [TS3]

 Coello / Tapia [TS1] vs Navarro / Bergamini [TS5]
The world number 1s will have to be wary of Paquito and Bergamini, who have been in great form since the start of the tournament.

The semi-finals start at 12 p.m.  on center court, with Ortega/Icardo vs. Jensen/Alonso. The program will then continue with Galán/Chingotto vs. Yanguas/Nieto, followed by the remaining matches in the afternoon and evening.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
