As of September 2019, Esprit Padel, the club of padel indoor Lyonnais will offer two new categories of tournaments padel inside its P100: The P10 and the P50.

These are categories (unofficial and set up only at Esprit Padel) which are aimed at recreational players who are getting into the padel or who want to participate in a padel without pressure.

These 2 categories are thus integrated into the P100 category of the Esprit club Padel. They are only designed by the club to make P100s by “levels” because, according to Sébastien Cornet, there is “too much difference in levels within their P100s”.

Remember that the only official categories planned to date are:

  • P100
  • P250
  • P500
  • P1000
  • P2000

The two categories set up by Esprit Padel  are therefore not officially implemented by the French Tennis Federation. It's Spirit Padel which offers players 2 types of clamped P100 with its own rules.

Mind padel offers two formats of P100:

  • the p50 tournament: To participate you must have a pair weight greater than 1500 points
  • the p10 tournament: To participate you must have a pair weight greater than 2500 points
