In recent days with the update of Tournament Guide padel, we saw a number of fans, players and clubs of padel wonder about certain changes put in place for 2021.

You asked us in particular what was thea proportion of tournaments padel P100 and P250 compared to all tournaments of padel made in 2019.

The FFT allowed us to know much more and precisely on this point.

In 2019, 83,7% of tournaments padel were P100 and P250. More than 8 out of 10 tournaments were therefore padel P100 and P250.

A machine which therefore seemed very oiled and appreciated by players and clubs. The other element to take into account: these two categories are clearly those used in all French regions.

And if we analyze these two categories, we realize that “the P100” is the queen event most appreciated and used by clubs in France in 2019. The P100 represent 56,8% of all tournaments in 2019.

Finally, to show how well the concept of P100 works and even seems in symbiosis with the P250s: despite the health crisis, the P100 category has managed to increase, therefore going from 869 tournaments carried out in 2019 to 915 events in 2020.

Last year, the P100s therefore represented 60% of the events organized. The P250s are still well installed in second position.
