Le  P1000 of Liévin , played from April 18 to 20, 2025 within the complex  4Padel , crowned a beautiful pair:  Paul Forichon  et  Lilian Foure . Having already produced solid performances in their previous tournaments together, the two players this time found the right formula to go for their first joint title, thanks to a convincing victory in the final against  Paul Dornberger  et  Guillaume Ledrap  :  6 / 1 6 / 4 .

A build-up throughout the weekend

Their journey to the title was not a long, quiet river.  quarterfinal , they overcame the pair  Crane / Fabre  in a close match ( 7/6 4/6 6/4 ), before making a superb comeback in  semi final  face  Dumoulin / Couturier Trailing 6/1, Forichon and Fouré reversed the trend to finally win.  1/6 7/6 6/3 .

In the final, they delivered their most controlled match of the tournament. Facing  Dornberger and Ledrap , semi-finalists of  Garcia / Gortzounian  At the end of an intense three-set match, the Forichon/Fouré pair imposed their game. A quick first set ( 6/1 ), followed by a second, better contested but perfectly managed ( 6/4 ), allows them to conclude a tournament  won with panache .

An expected victory, a confirmed progression

This was the  third tournament together  to  Paul Forichon and Lilian Fouré . After frustrating defeats against solid pairs,  Lozano / Perez Le Tiec  at P1500 in Bordeaux, then  Groll / Garcia  At the P2000 in Lyon, the two players were able to capitalize on their shared experience to reach a new level.

For  Paul Forichon , it is also about his  second P1000 title this year , after the one played in January alongside  Charles Gortzounian  à  Padel Campus Arena , his club.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
