The P1000 Marville was merciless for the seeded teams. On this Saturday of the quarter-finals, the favorites fell one after the other.
Charles Gortzounian et Clement Filho, freshly consecrated champions of Île-de-France, found themselves in the quarter-finals seeded 8, Thomas Brechemier et Cyril Durban. A very contested duel, marked by the power of the smash of Brechemier, who knew how to take advantage of the conditions to hurt his opponents. The first set was decided in tie-breaker, to the advantage of the outsiders.
But Charles and Clément were quick to react, breaking immediately to win the second set 6/4The third act is even more indecisive: they save four break points at 4/4, but ultimately bow in a second decisive tie-break. A first qualification in the P1000 semi-final for Brechemier and Durban !
Another surprise, the seeded 3, Tom Couturier et Arthaud Dumoulin, falls facing Guilhem Perez Le Tiec et Elio Sarrat on the score of 6 / 3 6 / 4.
La seeded 1, Bilal Duprat et Pierre Perez Le Tiec, fall in the last 16. They are beaten by Thomas mitjana et Lucas Potel, who create a surprise. But their adventure ends in the quarter-finals, beaten in three sets by the feeling of the tournament: Shane Samyn (202nd French) and Victor Choppe (184th), who won their quarter 5/7 6/3 6/4.
The only survivors of the first four seeds are Matthew Gonzalez et Benjamin Dufour (TS4). They impose themselves in pain against Guillaume Ledrap et Paul Dornberger (2/6 7/6 7/6) at the end of an extremely close match.
The semi-finals therefore promise open and spectacular duels, to be continued live from 10:30 a.m. on Padel MagTV :
- Guilhem Perez Le Tiec / Elio Sarrat vs Thomas Brechemier / Cyril Durban
- Shane Samyn / Victor Choppe vs Matthieu Gonzalez / Benjamin Dufour

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
