Le  P1000 Lésigny  has its final poster.  Gautier Boutel / Yannouk Henrion  will face  Hugo Cazaban / Raphaël Rubio  this Sunday, with a final to follow live on  Padel MagTV  with some local  14 hrs .

The two semi-finals offered two very different scenarios. On one side, a demonstration of skill from the 4th seed. On the other, a closer victory for the tournament favorites.

Boutel/Henrion without discussion

Great performance from  Gautier Boutel / Yannouk Henrion who totally dominated  Romain Coirault / Philemon Raichman , seeded 2, with a score of  6 / 1 6 / 1 .

A one-sided match, with the Boutel/Henrion pair playing with great aggression, very precise in their approach, and always well-positioned to apply pressure. On the other side, Coirault/Raichman never really found an answer. Too few free points, little rhythm established, and above all, a great difficulty in containing the opposing intensity.

The figures clearly illustrate the gap:  34 winning points  for Boutel/Henrion against only  9  for Coirault / Raichman. With  5 break points converted out of 6 The fourth seeded team perfectly exploited their opportunities and left no openings.

Not the best version from Coirault / Raichman, but above all a truly great performance from Boutel / Henrion, who arrive in the final with a lot of confidence.

Cazaban / Rubio escape the trap

In the other semi-final,  Hugo Cazaban / Raphaël Rubio , the number 1 seed, had to work hard to overcome  Nicolas Sidot / Jérôme Inzerillo , seeded 5.

Victory in three sets for the favorites:  6/2 3/6 6/3 .

After a well-controlled first set, Cazaban/Rubio saw Sidot/Inzerillo come back into the match. The latter raised their game in the second set, playing with more intensity and taking advantage of a less clean stretch from the favorites.

But in the third set, Cazaban/Rubio regained control at the right moment. Stronger in the crucial moments, they avoided the trap and secured their place in the final.

A final to follow at 14 p.m. on Padel MagTV

The final will therefore oppose  Boutel / Henrion  à  Cazaban / Rubio On paper, the number 1 seed will start with its status, but the dynamic of Boutel / Henrion can clearly have an impact.

After their impressive performance in the semi-final, they arrive with momentum, playing an attacking style of padel and brimming with confidence. Their opponents, Cazaban/Rubio, have shown they can also win in tough matches.

Head to  14 hrs  for the final of  P1000 Lésigny , to follow live on  Padel MagTV .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
