The favorites lived up to expectations. In the final of the  Reichstett P1000 ,  Simon Wagner  et  Tom Couturier  (TS1) dominated  Julien Seurin  et  Adrian Dandois  (TS2) in two sets ( 6 / 2 7 / 6 ) to clinch the title at the end of 1h10 game .

A logical victory for the number 1 seed, who perfectly controlled the important moments.

 Very realistic favorites 

Although statistics show a closer match than it appears, Wagner and Couturier showed realism.

They only obtained  two break points …and converted them all.

Opposite them, Seurin and Dandois acquired  five breakaway opportunities without converting a single one. A lack of efficiency that will cost them dearly against such a solid pair.

In the game, Wagner and Couturier also made a difference with their aggressiveness. With  44 winning points , against  37  For their opponents, they constantly took the initiative, led by a  Simon Wagner  offensive.

 A controlled finale 

The first set quickly turned in favor of the number 1 seed, who took control thanks to a break before cruising to victory.  6/2 .

The second set was more contested. Seurin and Dandois raised their level and managed to keep pace until the tie-break, but Wagner and Couturier remained the most solid in the important points to close out the match in two sets.

 A convincing journey 

The eventual winners will have confirmed their status throughout the weekend.

Before this final, they had notably eliminated the tournament's surprise package in the semi-finals.  Ulysses / Dupont , on the same score ( 6 / 2 7 / 6 ).

For their part, Seurin and Dandois had to dig deep to reach the final. Facing off against  Deknuydt / Motz They came very close to elimination, saving a match point before winning the third set tie-break.

This time, facing two of the most in-form players on the French circuit, the task was too great.

Thanks to this success,  Simon Wagner  et  Tom Couturier  confirm their status as favorites and add a new  P1000  to their record after a tournament that was generally well controlled.
