semi-finals du P1000 All In Country Club kept their promises with two close matches, but in the end, the expected outcome prevailed: the first two seeds find themselves in the final.
Potel and Sanchez make the difference in key moments
Opposed to Quentin Perrin / Basile Baud (TS5) , Lucas Potel / Norman Sanchez (TS1) had to work hard to establish themselves 7 / 5 7 / 5 .
A very close match, where the difference was made in managing the important moments.
In the first set The TS1 starts well with a quick break, before being overtaken and then passed. But they react immediately by following up three consecutive games to regain control and finish the round.
The scenario repeats itself in the second set Perrin/Baud hung on, even taking the lead with two breaks, but couldn't hold onto them. As in the first set, they lost their serve to 5-6 , letting the match slip away.
A mentally strong victory for TS1, who confirmed their form in the key moments.
Chavey / Arumi-Siquier at the end of the effort
In the other semi-final, Marc Edouard Chavey / Roger Arumi-Siquier (TS2) had to fight against Hugo Stroppiana / Maxime Fauvelle .
Victoire 6/3 4/6 6/3 , at the end of a close match. Despite losing the second set, TS2 remained solid to regain the upper hand in the decisive set.
A well-deserved qualification for a pair who lived up to their reputation.
A final between the two best pairs
The final will therefore pit:
- Potel / Sanchez (TS1)
- Chavey / Arumi-Siquier (TS2)
A logical match-up between the two best teams in the standings, despite hard-fought semi-finals.
See you at the final!
The final is scheduled for 14 hrs , to be continued directly on Padel MagTV .
A highly anticipated duel to conclude the tournament.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
