The semi-finals of P1000 Bourg-lès-Valence delivered their verdict this Sunday morning, and as is often the case in major events, the top seeds were able to hold their own. Jérémy Robert / Thomas Lelarge (TS2) and Louis Jover / Julien Biron (TS1) will face each other in the final at 14 hrs , for what promises to be a great duel.
Robert and Lelarge solid against Petitdidier and Rubio
In the first semi-final, Jeremy Robert et Thomas Lelarge have dominated Robin Petitdidier et Raphael Rubio (6/2 7/6). After a controlled first set, the second set was much more closely fought, but the second seeded pair were able to make the difference at the right time in the tie-break to avoid a tricky third set.
A serious and diligent performance which confirms their very good tournament so far.
Jover and Biron confirm their status
In the other semi-final, the big favorites Louis Jover et Julien Biron , seeded 1 , did not tremble in the face of Benjamin Dufour et Thibault Cazaban . Victory in two sets: 6 / 4 6 / 2 , with progressive domination throughout the match.
Final at 14 p.m.: duel at the top
The final will therefore oppose the two best pairs of the tournament , an ideal scenario for the Drôme public. On paper, Jover and Biron are the favorites. But Robert / Lelarge have proven that they know how to raise their level in this tournament.
Head to 14 hrs , live on Padel MagTV , to follow this poster between the two major seeds of the tournament.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
