A solid first set from the favourites

From the start, Dupont Brimbeuf and Boutel impose their rhythm. Few direct errors, a lot of aggression and good control of exchanges allow them to gain the upper hand over Pillon and Sarrat. The latter, less accurate at the start of the match, concede the first set 7/5 after an already very hard-fought fight.

The second set starts with a great opportunity for Dupont Brimbeuf / Boutel, who obtain three break points in the first game. Pillon and Sarrat save them and, in the process, break immediately.
