No surprises at  P1000 Impact Stadium La Rochelle  : the top two seeds secured their place in the final after controlled semi-finals.

Dumoulin/Couturier too strong for the Moura/Perilhon surprise

La  Top seed, Arthaud Dumoulin / Tom Couturier left no chance for the surprise pair  Moura / Perilhon (TS13) who was nevertheless having a very good run.
Net score:  6 / 2 6 / 1 .

The favorites set a very high pace with  44 winning points for only 12 direct errors , proof of a perfectly controlled match.
Opposite them, Moura and Perilhon tried to make their mark with  27 winning moves , but their  18 unforced errors  weighed heavily against such an aggressive and precise pair.

Dumoulin and Couturier therefore arrive in the final with a lot of freshness and confidence.

Gortzounian and Dupont-Brimbeuf were solid despite a close second set.

In the other semi-final, the  Second seed, Charles Gortzounian / Mathis Dupont-Brimbeuf , also held its own against  Coustham / Venancio .

The first set was one-sided, driven by a  Mathis Dupont-Brimbeuf was very dominant at the smash and the vibora , perfectly supported by a  Charles Gortzounian, constant and reliable .

The second set was more closely contested, but the numbers speak for themselves:

  •  0/2 break points  converted for Coustham / Venancio
  •  3/9  for Gortzounian / Dupont-Brimbeuf

Better management of key points made all the difference.

A final between the two best pairs

The logic is respected:  TS1 vs TS2 final  across
 Dumoulin / Couturier  et  Gortzounian / Dupont-Brimbeuf .
