Le  TSB Valenciennes Women's P1000  will take place this weekend with a fairly open draw and several pairs capable of playing leading roles. On paper,  Stéphanie Weil / Laura Robineau  will start with a head start, but behind them, the 2nd to 8th seeds will have real arguments to make.

The meetings will be followed  directly on Padel TV Mag from the quarter-finals .

Weil/Robineau, the pair to beat

At the top of series 1, we will find  Stéphanie Weil / Laura Robineau , the most homogeneous pair in the table.

Weil will be the highest-ranked player in the tournament, while Robineau arrives with the confidence of a  title in P1000 this season , which he won last April alongside Marine Fontaine.

With their complementary skills and consistency, they will logically start as favorites to go for the title.

Robat/Aznar want to take things to the next level

The second seed will consist of  Pauline Robat / Laury Aznar .

Robat already tasted the thrill of a P1000 title last September and will undoubtedly be eager to defend his points. Alongside him,  Laury Aznar  has already reached several semi-finals this season without managing to lift the trophy.

In Valenciennes, the objective will therefore be clear:  turning good performance into a title .

Keppenne/Mattei, a difficult pairing to categorize

In seed 3,  Alicia Keppenne / Mathilde Mattei  can be one of the most difficult pairs to read.

Keppenne has played very little this season, with only a few appearances in competition.

With their TS3 status, they will have a real chance of reaching at least the final four, or even better if they quickly find their level of play.

Fontaine/Synaeghel, an unbalanced but dangerous pair

The number 4 seed will be  Marine Fontaine / Lauren Synaeghel .

On paper, the pair is a little less homogeneous in terms of ranking, with  Fontaine, 39th French  and Synaeghel 145th. But Fontaine already has the experience of the title since she won this season in P1000 with Laura Robineau.

This time she will try to lead Synaeghel to a big result, or even a first title.

Seeds 5 through 8 are serious dark horses

Behind the top four pairs, several teams can clearly shake things up.

La  TS5 Océane Wadoux / Francisca Vieira .

En  TS6, Lison Chambre / Manon Garcia .

La  TS7 Sophie Briez / Ilyana Païs  She too will start in this outsider role, while  Léane Yvon / Alice Ferber , seeded 8, complete this group of pairs capable of reaching a quarter-final or even more.

An open field behind the favorites

Although Weil/Robineau appear to be the pair to beat, the picture is far from being closed.

Robat/Aznar have experience, Keppenne/Mattei can surprise, Fontaine/Synaeghel have real potential, and the 5th to 8th seeds will all have a chance.

Le  TSB Valenciennes Women's P1000  It therefore looks quite open, with several credible candidates for the final four.

See you this weekend, with the  Quarter-finals to follow live on Padel MagTV .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
