Two quick wins in the semi-finals of the P1000 from Mantes-la-Jolie, with the two most in-form pairs who enforced the hierarchy. Lucas Pillon / Olivier Guy de Chamisso and Adrien Maigret / Yann Auradou will meet in the final after two controlled victories.
Pillon / Guy de Chamisso, an express demonstration
Opposed to Clement Filho et Charles GortzounianLucas Pillon and Olivier Guy de Chamisso delivered an ultra-dominant performance. From the start, the two young players put the pressure on at the net, leaving their opponents no chance.
The first set is shipped in 13 minutes, on a resounding score of 6/1Olivier won most of his points at the net, while Lucas played perfectly from the back of the court. The second set followed the same pattern: 4-0 quickly, a slight adverse surge, then a solid conclusion: 6/1 6/2 in 36 minutes of play.
Maigret / Auradou solid and applied
In the other semi-final, Adrien Maigret et Yann Auradou faced Loris Morvan only 16 years old and Etienne Brouillard. Less expeditious than the first semi-final, this match still turned in favor of the favorites, who were more solid in key moments.
The first set is quickly won 6/2, with a dominant Maigret on the volley and an irreproachable Auradou on the right. Morvan and Brouillard try to react, but the northerners lack consistency. The second set is a little more close, but the Maigret / Auradou pair remains mistress of her subject, to conclude 6/3 and validate their qualification for the final.
An unprecedented final: youth versus experience
So we will find this Thursday evening a promising poster between two pairs in shape:
Pillon / Guy de Chamisso, winners two weeks ago of the Bondoufle P1000.
Maigret / Auradou, solid, experienced and always dangerous in major events.
A shock that promises to the intensity of the show and above all a right diagonal which is not insignificant: the coach Yann Auradou and his student Olivier Guy de Chamisso will face each other in this final.
Meet us this afternoon around 14 p.m. for the final of this P1000 at AS Mantoise.
