La  seeded 2 ,  Paul Dornberger  et  Charles Gortzounian , won the title at  P1000 Padel 3 in Troyes , dominating the 1st seed pair  Tom Couturier / Arthaud Dumoulin  on the score of  7 / 5 6 / 3 .

A stunning finale

The match had started off with a bang for the number 1 seed,  Couturier / Dumoulin , who led  5/2  in the first set. But that's when  Gordzounian  et  Dornberger  sounded the revolt. Gortzounian took matters into his own hands, stringing together decisive points, while his partner regained all his solidity at the baseline. Result:  five games in a row  and a snatched set  7/5  after a spectacular turnaround.

The mind makes the difference

Psychologically affected by this comeback,  Couturier and Dumoulin  struggled to get going again in the second round. Opposite,  Dornberger and Gortzounian  rode their momentum to conclude  6/3 .

A first title for Dornberger, a third for Gordzounian

This success marks  the first P1000 won by Paul Dornberger , a great reward for the young player. For  Charles Gordzounian , it is already about  his third title of the season  in this category. Together, they sign a  almost perfect course , without conceding a single set in the tournament.
