The semi-finals of P1000 Padel Noyelles-sur-Selle Football Club kept all their promises: and logic was generally respected.

Forichon / Fouré (TS1) secures victory against the surprise Bertrand / Macchi

Pair Opposites Bertrand / Macchi in great form after taking down the 4th seeded Ledrap / Dornberger, Paul Forichon and Lilian Fouré had to get to work.

The start of the match is clearly in favor of TS8:
more patient, more tactically astute, Ulysses and Jeremy were twice ahead in the scoreboard with a break.
But Forichon/Fouré hung on, stepped up their game on the return leg, and reduced their mistakes. The turning point came in the crucial moments. 7/5 for the number 1 seed.

In the second set, the constant pressure from the favorite pair took its toll. Bertrand/Macchi tried to take more risks… and ended up breaking. Forichon / Fouré conclude 7/5 6/3, serious and solid to the end.

Auradou / Filho (TS2) overthrows Dumoulin / Couturier (TS3)

The other semi-final was a real battle of wills.

Couturier / Dumoulin start very strong and take the first set 6/1taking advantage of a difficult start to the match for Auradou / Filho.

But the TS3 doesn't panic:
She gains in precision and eventually makes TS2 doubt herself. The tie-break in the second set is a turning point: Auradou / Filho snatch the set 7/6, before confirming their rise to power in a controlled third act: 6/4.

There’s nothing quite like a remontada which allows them to reach the final after a performance full of character.

The final: Forichon / Fouré vs Auradou / Filho

La seeded 1 against the seeded 2A final that promises a very high level of play in Noyelles-sur-Selle.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
