This Saturday at PadelShot Metz, the quarter-finals of the P1000 lived up to all their promises, with close matches. The seeded teams are moving forward, but not without difficulty.

Mitjana / Maigret extinguish an excellent Moura

In the clash against the pair Gonzalez / Moura, one of the favorite pairs Adrien Maigret and Thomas Mitjana (seeded 3) were jostled by a Baptiste Moura on fire, author of a very high-level match. The first set, closely fought, lasted 34 minutes and ended 6/4 in favor of Maigret / Mitjana. The second was even more intense with muscular rallies, but here again, experience made the difference: 7/5 for the favorites, who won 6/4 7/5 and continued on their way.

Muesser / Forichon impress again

The seeded 1 Muesser / Forichon did not tremble against Benmergui / De Galbert, delivering a very solid performance: a clear victory 6/3 6/2. In the semi-final, however, they will have to raise their level even further to face Mitjana / Maigret.

Coustham / Coirault create a surprise

The surprise of these quarters comes from Coustham / Coirault, which prevail against Ledrap / Duprat (TS4). After a good start in this tournament, they continue to roll and will face Gortzounian / Dumoulin in the semifinals.

Gortzounian / Dumoulin mentally

Mental victory for the 2nd seed, Gortzounian / Dumoulin, who had to draw on their resources to dominate Lelarge / Petitdidier : 6/3 4/6 6/3. They will therefore find Coustham / Coirault in the semi-final this Sunday.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
