The  semi-finals  du  P1000 PadelShot Reims  offered two very different scenarios, between a  spectacular turnaround  and total  big surprise in the table .

Deknuydt / Forichon in steamroller mode after a complicated start

This was the highly anticipated poster between  Eliot Deknuydt / Paul Forichon (TS2)  et  Thomas Mitjana / Julien Motz (TS3) .

The start of the match went in favor of TS3. More aggressive,  Mitjana / Motz  They impose their own pace and take advantage of difficult conditions:  drop in temperature, humidity , less effective smashes on the TS2 side.

As a result, they logically take the first round  6/4 .

But then, the game completely turned around.

Deknuydt / Forichon change levels They intensify and completely reverse the dynamic. They inflict a  dual 6/0 , in less than 35 cumulative minutes.

Twelve consecutive games, a true demonstration. Opposite them,  Motz's intensity is clearly dropping. and TS2 proceeds all the way to the final.

Toussaint/Lefevre take advantage of the draw and strike hard

In the other semi-final,  Toussaint / Lefevre (TS8)  pull off the big move by eliminating  Choppe / Zisswiller (TS6) .

This performance is part of a positive trend; they are benefiting from the fall of the  TS1 Seurin / Dandois  in quarter.

The underdogs seized their chance and advanced to the final with authority.

 A TS2 vs TS8 final

The final will therefore pit:

  •  Deknuydt / Forichon (TS2)
  •  Toussaint / Lefevre (TS8)

 See you at the final!

The final is scheduled for  14 hrs , to be continued  directly on Padel MagTV .

One last duel to conclude this first P1000 in Reims.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
