Last weekend, the club P2 - Padel Sauvian South Mediterranean hosted the first edition of its P1000 GentlemenThe event brought together a high-caliber lineup, with 11 players from the French top 100 from 36 committed teams, as well as a large audience — nearly 1000 visitors over the entire weekend.
Starting Friday evening, the qualifications put on a great show, especially with the presence of Yoan Boronad (n°9), along with his coach Yannick Maurel (2000)The duo distinguished themselves by saving two match points in the decisive super tie-break against Clément Fourdain (634) et Théo Pallies (848).
The day of Saturday was marked by closely contested matches all the way to the quarter-finals.
In the upper part of the table, Benjamin Dufour (46) / Hugo Cazaban (56) won in three sets against Perrin (112) / Alvergnas (228), While Arnaud (314) / Boutier (133) also won in three sets against Barthe (206) / Biron (44).
In the lower part, Chavey (164) / Arumi-Siquier (10) confirmed their status in the face of Hayet (174) / Hue (62), as Rubio (47) / Fonteny (8), winners of Verdier (90) / Durand (179).

Le Sunday morningThe semi-finals followed the logic of the standings.
The # 1 seed Fonteny / Rubio dominated Chavey / Arumi-Siquier on the score of 6 / 3 6 / 4, while the No. 2 seed Dufour / Cazaban won by the same score against Boutier / Arnaud, despite a strong resistance from the latter who led 4/1 in the second set.
La final offered a great contest between the two best pairs in the tournament, in front of approximately 150 spectators.


Despite an initial break, Dufour / Cazaban were unable to confirm. The local pair formed by Timeo Fonteny, recent French U18 champion, and Raphael Rubiothen played his game to win 6 / 4 6 / 2winning the title without conceding a single set of the weekend.
Un P500 Ladies was also held on Sunday. The victory went to Victoria Isaac (93) et Emmelien Lambregts (36)who prevailed in the final over Céline Verdier (44) et Cécile Bertheas (62).
