Big day this Saturday at  P1000 The Monkey Padel , with many  unexpected results  and great performances, notably those of  Courrin and Squarta , who defeated the number 1 seed. The semi-finals begin this Sunday  from 11pm , to be continued  directly on Padel MagTV .

 Peloux/Dizy without shaking

Opposed to  Dorian Schmitt / Hugo Polverini ,  Johan Peloux  et  Alexandre Dizy  have mastered their subject perfectly. Very quickly in the match,  Peloux makes a strong impact at the net , particularly in his diagonal facing the right-hander Schmitt, whom he repeatedly outflanks.

The first set is one-way:  6/2 .

In the second round, Polverini raised his voice and was more aggressive, but the mistakes on the Schmitt/Polverini side piled up. On the other side,  Alexandre Dizy is impeccable , both in defense and on the volley. The duo is imposing itself  6/4 , heading for the semi-finals.

Testoni and Gourre overpower De Negri / Pasquier

Remy Gourre  et  Cesar Testoni  did not have an easy task but knew how to make their experience count. After a great start (3/0), they left  Thomas De Negri  et  Valentin Pasquier  come back to  3/3 , before making the difference again thanks to Testoni's effective smashes:  6/3 .

The second set was closer. Thomas bothered Testoni with lower balls, but the pair  Gourre / Testoni does not give up on his service , and validates his ticket for the semi-finals with a  6/4 .

Two big surprises at the top of the table

The seed 1,  Justin Lopes / Nicolas Molinero , was eliminated by  Nathan Courrin / Christophe Squarta , seeded 7. A real  performance  of the French pair, who took a big hit in the quarter-finals.

Another surprise:  Basile Tardy / Tristan Piombo , seeded 8, knock off the number 3,  Raphaël Rubio / Thibault Verdier , and offers a semi-final.

 Sunday's semi-finals (11 a.m.)

 Tardy / Piombo (TS8)  vs  Courrin / Squarta (TS7)
Gourre / Testoni  vs  Peloux / Dizy

The matches will be followed  directly on Padel MagTV , From  11 hrs .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
