Le  P1000 Twins Padel Lacanau  is being contested this weekend with a draw of 24 pairs and several teams capable of competing for the title. On paper,  Robin Roux / Julien Motz  They will start with the status of favorites, but the competition will be fierce behind them.

The  The quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final will be broadcast live on Padel MagTV .

Roux/Motz, the pair to beat

At the top of series 1, we will find  Robin Roux / Julien Motz , a particularly homogeneous association.

Motz arrives with solid credentials, having already won  several P1000s this season Left-footed, he will play alongside Robin Roux, who will naturally take the left side.

With Motz ranked  30th French  and Roux 79th, the pair have real arguments to live up to their status and aim for the title in Lacanau.

Sarrat / Cazes Carrere with experience

The second seed will consist of  Elie Sarrat / Thomas Cazes Carrere .

Cazes Carrere will bring all his experience, while Sarrat,  49th French , will be the higher ranked player of the pair, already a two-time P1000 champion this season with Loïc Le Panse and Julen Fabas, he will try to win a 3rd title with Cazes Carrere.

A solid association that will clearly be among the main contenders for the title.

Larrue / Chouchaoui to go for the last square

At the top of series 3, we will find  Théo Larrue / Mehdi Chouchaoui .

Chouchaoui has already distinguished himself several times this season with several appearances in the final stages of P1000, but also on the international circuit.

With their TS3 status, the objective will logically be to join the  semi-finals , with the possibility of aiming higher if the momentum is good.

Vignat / Dammak, youth in power

The second seed will consist of  Grégoire Vignat / Mohamed Malek Dammak .

Two young players from  24 years  who will be able to take advantage of a favorable draw thanks to their status to try and reach the final four.

Pillon/Garrigue among the main outsiders

Behind the top 4, the  5th seed Lucas Pillon / Clément Garrigue  will be particularly interesting to follow.

Pillon is notably  38th French player This represents one of the best individual rankings in the tournament. Even if the pair is less consistent with Garrigue, they certainly possess the qualities to disrupt the top seeds.

La  TS6 Mathieu Armagnac / Aurélien Grandmont , the  TS7 Alexandre Perlhon / Baptiste Moura  and the  TS8 Axel Leduc / Quentin Folliot  complete the main outsiders in the table.

Simon Wagner, the highest-ranked player in the tournament… only pair 12

Also pay attention to a pair located much further down the list.

Simon Wagner , currently  20th ranked Frenchman and highest-ranked player in the tournament , will be associated with  John Dumartin .

With Dumartin ranked lower, their combined rankings place them only in  12th position  in the list of pairs.

A status that is inevitably misleading. With a player of Wagner's caliber, this partnership could constitute  one of the main pitfalls of the painting  and knock out a seeded player in the early rounds.

An open painting in Lacanau

Si  Roux / Motz  will start with a slight advantage, several pairs can clearly claim the title.

Sarrat / Cazes Carrere, Larrue / Chouchaoui and Vignat / Dammak will benefit from their status, while Pillon / Garrigue or Dumartin / Wagner could shake up the hierarchy.

The meetings will be  to follow live on Padel TV Mag from the quarter-finals , and then all the way to the final.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
