Their journey is impressive: they first eliminate the seed 2 (Weil/Sirgant)then seed 3 (Trouillot/Mear) before tackling the favorites in the final.
A tense first set... then controlled
The start of the final is tight. 4/3, the teams trade blows, but Aizkoa Iturrino, very inspired in attack, turns the game around. She scores a series of winning points to conclude the first set 6/3.
From the start of the second set, Ainhoa Berecoechea takes over. It allows you to break from the entrance with power and tactical intelligence, allowing his duo to take the lead in the race. At 4/3, a timeout disrupts the match : Margaux Amato gets injured, resulting in a long interruption.
