The weekend's logic held true in the final… but not the draw's. After the falls of the 1st and 2nd seeds,  Adrien Maigret and Baptiste Grodenic  (TS4) seized the opportunity to claim the title by dominating  Sami Iznasni / Alexandre Boilevin  (TS5)  7 / 6 6 / 3  finally.

A first set locked

The start of the match is very balanced. Both pairs hold their serves perfectly, with very few break opportunities for either side.
Each team gets an opportunity, but fails to capitalize.

The set is therefore decided by a tie-break, where  Maigret and Grodenic prove more reliable in key moments At 5-4, two return errors from Iznasni/Boilevin proved costly. Adrien and Baptiste capitalized, gaining a psychological advantage and clinching the first set.

The decisive break right from the start

In the second set, the dynamics change rapidly.  Maigret and Grodenic break from the start taking advantage of a slight lull in the opposition's performance and better-controlled tactical pressure.

Iznasni and Boilevin manage to break back immediately, but  immediately render their service with somewhat rushed choices and a lack of patience in the construction process. Mental and physical fatigue is beginning to take its toll.

Opposite them, the TS4 pair are executing their game plan:
Grodenic built diagonally sets the pace, and  Maigret cuts off the trajectories to finish the points More tactically consistent, they maintain their lead and conclude  6/3  without shaking.

Maigret continues his run, Grodenic unlocks the scoring

This title confirms Adrien Maigret's excellent form.  winner of a second P1000 in two weeks  after his success at No Ad Padel Club with Maxime Deloyer. In this format, the French veteran shows that he remains a benchmark.

For  Baptiste Grodenic  After reaching the final and finishing third several times last year, he takes off  his first P1000  of the season, and in what manner.

In an open table,  Maigret and Grodenic were able to rise to the occasion.  to turn the opportunity into a title.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
