Marc  Hardy  and Mathieu  Paumard  get their first  P1000 of the season  to VidaPadel, at the end of a perfectly controlled final against  Jeremy Macchi  et  Thomas Bréchemier The duo, used to playing together, delivered a very solid tournament from start to finish.

More realistic in key moments

The score (6/4 6/4) reflects a close match, but the difference was made by efficiency. Macchi and Bréchemier missed their chances, including a cruel  0 out of 6 on break points , including three from the start in the first set. Behind, Durieux and Paumard did not let their chance pass: a break was enough to take them to 6/4.

A controlled finale

In the second set, the scenario reversed but the outcome remained the same. This time, it was Paumard-Durieux who struck with a break at 3-2. Solid in their commitment, they maintained their lead until the end to seal the match.

Aggression and defense at the rendezvous

Very aggressive,  Matthew Paumard  prevented the pair  Macchi  /  Brechemier  to impose their game and take the net in good conditions. With a well-oiled defensive game, the winners knew how to vary the heights and in particular use the lob on  Brechemier This tactical mastery allowed us to control the exchanges and secure a deserved victory.

A convincing journey

This first P1000 title of the season rewards a confident pair who demonstrated great complementarity throughout the tournament. Their consistency and efficiency in key moments allowed them to dominate the tournament without too much tremor.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
