The final four of the women's P1500 tournament in La Ciotat are now set. The top three seeds have secured their places in the semifinals, while Lefevre and Alquier (5th seeds) pulled off the biggest upset of the draw by eliminating Messina/Pelan, the 4th seeds. Here is the schedule for Sunday and the paths taken by the four remaining pairs. 

Hofer / Bognard (TS2) – Lefevre / Alquier (TS5)

The first semi-final will pit  Hofer  /  Bognard , seeded No. 2, at   Lefevre and Alquier  (TS5).

Hofer and Bognard made a perfect start to their tournament by dominating  Keppenne / Fouquet  (6/4 6/2), before having to work hard in the quarter-final against  Gontier / Dardaine After conceding a second set, they finally made the difference in the deciding set to win.  6/4 4/6 6/3 .

On the other side, Lefevre and Alquier are the only ones to have beaten a higher seed. After a dominant start against  Tardivet / Girard  (6/1 6/1), they achieved a very good performance in the quarter-finals by eliminating  Messina / Pelan (TS4)  at the end of a three-set match ( 6/3 2/6 7/5 ).

Bougon / Pecastaing (TS3) – Denechau / Majdoubi (TS1)

The second semi-final will pit the No. 3 and No. 1 seeds against each other.

 Bougon and Pecastaing  have had a very solid tournament so far. After eliminating  Nadal / Per  (6/3 6/2), they confirmed their excellent level by dominating  Rosado / Giglione  on the uncontested score of  6 / 0 6 / 3  to reach the final four.

Opposite them, the favorites  Denechau and Majdoubi  have still not conceded a single set. After a controlled victory against  Sorel / Isaac  (6/2 6/1), they repeated the feat in the quarter-final against  Grumpy / Pecastaing  with a clear success  6 / 0 6 / 1 authoritatively validating their qualification.
