The Sète P1500 tournament will reach its conclusion this Sunday. Starting at 9 a.m., the four remaining pairs will attempt to secure their place in the final, scheduled for early afternoon. Timéo Fonteny and Nicolas Molinero will face the top seeds, Quentin Aysuo and Philemon Raichman. Meanwhile, Jules Marie and Julien Motz will take on Sami Iznasni and Raphaël Rubio in what promises to be a particularly close match.

Can Fonteny take Molinero all the way?

Without making any noise,  Timeo Fonteny  is undoubtedly the most anticipated player in this final four. Partnered with  Nicolas Molinero He will now try to take down the tournament favorites.

Their journey, however, was far from smooth sailing. From their very first match, they had to battle for three sets to overcome  Thilbaud Pech and Benoit Theard  (3/6 6/4 7/5), before more calmly negotiating their quarter-final against  Florian Armand and Romain Vial  (7/5 6/4), who defeated the No. 3 seed in the previous round.

Opposite,  Quentin Aysuo and Philemon Raichman  They continue to advance without having conceded a single set. The number 1 seeds have successively dominated  Lilian Fouré and Loïc Le Panse  (6/4 6/3), then  Dimitri Contout and Maxime Forcin  (6/2 6/4). For  Philemon Raichman This semi-final also represents a great opportunity to regain confidence after several more complicated weeks on the FIP circuit.

Marie/Motz face the surprise pairing of these quarterfinals

In the other semi-final,  Jules Marie and Julien Motz  will try to continue their impressive run.

After a relatively controlled start against  Pierre and Lucien Samitier The No. 6 seed confirmed his excellent level by dominating  Robin Petitdidier and Thomas Brechemier  (6/4 6/3). A performance all the more remarkable as they had just eliminated the tournament's No. 2 seed.

But this time, Marie and Motz will be facing a pair brimming with confidence.  Sami Iznasni and Raphaël Rubio  they delivered one of the best performances of the quarter-finals by eliminating  Théo Suzanna and Tristan Piombo  (7/6 6/4), two players who were coming off excellent results on both the French and international circuits. A victory that confirms their ambitions in this tournament.

Two posters with contrasting styles

These two semi-finals promise particularly interesting clashes of styles. On one side, the favorites  Aysuo / Raichman  will try to enforce the hierarchy in the face of the ambition of  Fonteny / Molinero . The other,  Marie / Motz  will have to confirm their very good tournament against a pair  Iznasni / Rubio  buoyed by a landmark victory.
