Le P1500 of the Vichy CNE offered a day full of twists and turns. The top seeds faltered very early, and Sunday's semi-finals (to be followed from 9:30 p.m. on Padel MagTV) are expected to be particularly uncertain.

Fabre / Dupont-Brimbeuf, the pair that's shaking things up

La TS1 Lozano / Cancel fell as soon as it entered the competition, surprised by Fabre / Dupont-Brimbeufimpeccable in the first set tie-break before cruising to victory: 7 / 6 6 / 1.

Riding their momentum, Fabre and Dupont-Brimbeuf then dominated Ledrap / Dornberger. Clear victory: 6 / 3 6 / 2.
They advance to the semi-finals after two particularly controlled performances.

In the semi-finals, they will challenge Wagner / Muesser, authors of a solid quarter against Rouanet / Dandois : 7 / 5 6 / 2.
A tight start to the match, then a clear improvement: the Alsatians made the difference at the right moment in the first set before taking control in the second. A deserved qualification for the semi-finals.

At the top of the table, TS2 also falls

La TS2 Ayuso / Mannarino fell in the round of 16 against Gonzalez / Armagnac after a long struggle: 6/4 5/7 7/5.

In the quarter-finals, Gonzalez/Armagnac were unable to continue their winning streak: exhausted by their tough match in the round of 8, they lost. 6 / 2 6 / 2 face Dufour / Petitdidier, very clean and efficient in all sectors.

In the semi-final, Dufour / Petitdidier will meet again TS4 Bayard / Vincent, in complete control since the start of the tournament.
The duo prevailed 6 / 1 6 / 2 in the quarter-finals against Gortzounian / Guy de Chamisso, thanks to a simple and perfectly executed game plan: precise lobs from Bayard to allow Pierre Vincent to impose his block and accelerate on Charles Gortzounian.
Olivier Guy de Chamisso, despite playing at home, was never able to get into the game.
