The semi-finals of P1500 men from Haut de Nîmes kept their promises this morning, with the first and second seeds falling before the final.
Bayard and Vincent too strong for the first seed
Opposed to the seed 1 Pierre Perez Le Tiec and Damien Lozano , the pair Pierre Vincent / Damien Bayard confirmed their great form. Already winners of two P1000s in recent weeks, they this time knocked off the top seed 1/6 3/6.
Despite a successful break in the first set, Lozano and Perez Le Tiec quickly lost their serve again. The statistics speak for themselves: 27 unforced errors for the top seed compared to only 1 for their opponents. Too many errors to hope to reverse the trend against a duo playing with confidence and control.

Gortzounian and Filho bring down the second seed
In the other semi-final, Charles Gortzounian and Clément Filho made a big splash when they left Ludovic Cancel and Quentin Ayuso (TS2). Beaten in the first set 6/4, they were able to get back on track in the second set, more aggressive and opportunistic. In the third, the break achieved at 3/3 made the difference, allowing them to conclude 4/6 6/3 6/4.
Opportunistic yesterday, taking advantage of the early elimination of seeded team Molinero/Sanchez to make their way to the semi-finals, they confirmed their chances today with a fine victory.
A promising finale at 14 p.m.
The final will therefore be between the 3rd seed, Vincent / Bayard , seeded 6, Gortzounian / Son . Two pairs full of confidence, ready to go for the title. And a little wink: it will also be the revenge of the P1000 4PADEL Orléans final disputed a month ago.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
