It is a completely logical finale that we will find in P1500 from Grenoble, with the poster opposing the first two seeds.

Indeed, Lucile Pothier et Louise Bahurel (TS1), as well as Tiffany Phaysouphanh et Fiona Ligi (TS2) qualified for the final of this P1500 in Isère…

The seeded 1 ensures

In the first semi-final, Lucile Pothier and Louise Bahurel did the job, facing Marie maligo et Melissa Martin. Well established in their game, they only left a small game to their opponents during the first round, which they therefore won 6/1.

The second set was a little tighter, since only one break separated the two teams. In the end, this makes 6/4 on the board and a final in hand for Lucile and Louise.

Tiffany Phaysouphanh and Fiona Ligi get away with it

Even though they won their meeting in straight sets, Fiona Ligi and Tiffany Phaysouphanh did not deliver their best performance during their semi-final against Charlyne Tonda et Alexise Duchêne. Many mistakes came to mar the start of the meeting. Moreover, the outsiders Parisians were the first to break, although they were caught behind too easily. In the end, the set ended in a tie-break, won by Phaysouphanh/Ligi.

In the second set, we found the same problems as in the first, even if Fiona and Tiffany played a little more in tune, causing more fouls among their opponents. However, there was still some inconsistency in the game, which disrupted the 2 seeds a bit. Despite everything, the favorites of the match ended up winning 7 / 6 6 / 4.
