The P1500 Legend Padel near Tarbes This weekend promises to be exciting. The field is one of the strongest of the season, with several pairs capable of going for the title.
The first four seeds
En seeded 1 , Damien Lozano et Pierre Perez Le Tiec arrive with solid credentials. Lozano remains on a quarter-final at the P1000 Arsenal Padel with Tristan Piombo. Together, the two men held Vives / Guichard at the last French Championships and finished third in the last P1500 in Nîmes. Almost at home for Lozano, originally from Pau, they will be aiming for the title this time.
En seeded 2 , we find Alexis Coulombeau et Ludovic Cancel , a regular duo this season. Third twice in P1500 and fourth in P2000, they have not yet won a title together but have the means to do so in Tarbes.
La seeded 3 is occupied by Quentin Ayuso et Yanis Muesser , already winners of a P1500 this summer in Grenoble. Their return as a duo is accompanied by a clear ambition: to play the leading roles again.
Finally, in seeded 4 , be careful Damien Bayard et Pierre-Vincent , who are coming off a victory in the last P1500 in Nîmes. With a P1000 and a P1500 already won, they will be among the favorites for the tournament.
Outsiders to watch
Behind these four pairs, the table remains very open. Charles Gortzounian et Clement Filho (TS5) arrive confident after their final in Nîmes. Thibaud Pech et Dorian DeMeyer (TS6) will also have to be watched: Pech has just won the P1000 Arsenal Padel in Tarbes and is confident.
Simon Wagner et Lucas Pillon (TS7), then Tom Couturier et Arthaud Dumoulin (TS8), two young players on the rise, could be the spoilsport. Dumoulin also won last week at the P1000 Casa Padel A.
An even richer picture
The plateau is particularly dense: Matthew Gonzalez et Thomas mitjana are there, just like Jules Mary associated to Benjamin Grue The local public will follow with attention Hugo Cazaban et Nicolas trancart , finalists at the Arsenal Padel. At last, Cyril Hanouna et Matthieu Escale , another local player, benefit from a wild card to enter directly into the main draw.
The date is set for an intense weekend of padel in Tarbes, with a table that promises great matches from the first rounds. Spectators will be able to follow the matches live on Padel MagTV from the quarter-finals.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
