The quarter-finals of  P1500 Padel 95  They generally respected the hierarchy this Saturday. The top three seeds secured their place in the semi-finals, while the fourth seed fell in the only real upset of the day.

The semi-finals will therefore pit  Charles Gortzounian / Simon Wagner  à  Raphaël Rubio / Quentin Bernard , While  Tom Couturier / Arthaud Dumoulin  will find  Guillaume Ledrap / Pierre Perez Le Tiec .

Gortzounian and Wagner are gaining momentum

Since the start of the tournament,  Charles Gortzounian  et  Simon Wagner  display a particularly solid level.

The number 1 seed confirmed its status in the quarter-finals against  Paul Dornberger  et  Thibaud Pech , with a controlled victory  6 / 4 6 / 2 .

After a close first set, Wagner and Gortzounian gradually took control of the exchanges to secure a place in the final four.

Rubio and Bernard take down the 4th seed

The little surprise of the day came from  Raphael Rubio  et  Quentin Bernard .

Opposed to  Ludovic Cancel  et  Paul Fourichon , seeded 4, they delivered a great performance to prevail against this TS4.

A victory that opens the doors to the semi-finals and now offers them a major challenge against the tournament favorites.

Dumoulin and Couturier at the end of the fight

The most closely contested match of these quarter-finals involved the number 2 seed.

Facing  Benjamin Dufour  et  Jules Mary ,  Tom Couturier  et  Arthaud Dumoulin  had to work hard for three sets to secure their qualification.

After dominating the first set, they saw their opponents come back into the match before finally winning.  6/1 4/6 6/4 .

A valuable success that allows them to continue their quest for a first P1500 title together.

Ledrap and Perez Le Tiec ensure

In the last quarter-final,  Guillaume Ledrap  et  Pierre Perez Le Tiec , seeded 3, lived up to their ranking.

Opposed to  Alexis Arette Hourquet  et  Teo Larrue They have established themselves  7 / 5 6 / 4  after a serious and thorough meeting.

A victory that validates the potential of this new association, one of the attractions of the tournament.

The last four teams in contention will meet this Sunday morning to try and secure a place in the final.
