The semi-finals of  P1500 Padel 95  They kept their promises this Sunday morning. The top two seeds secured their place in the final after two matches with very different storylines.

On the one hand,  Simon Wagner and Charles Gortzounian  have perfectly mastered their subject. On the other hand,  Tom Couturier and Arthaud Dumoulin  had to dig deep to turn around a semi-final that started poorly.

Wagner and Gortzounian remained solid to the end.

Opposed to  Raphaël Rubio and Quentin Bernard Simon Wagner and Charles Gortzounian, who defeated the 4th seed in the quarter-finals, confirmed their status as favorites.

In a closely contested first set, both players made the difference at the best possible moment to secure the victory.  7/5 They then definitively gained the upper hand over their opponents in the second set.

Result: a controlled victory  7 / 5 6 / 3  which opens the doors to the final for them.

For  Charles Gortzounian The stakes will be high. At home, he will try to win his first title in  P1500 .

Couturier and Dumoulin overthrow Ledrap and Perez Le Tiec

The other semi-final offered a real battle between the 2nd seed  Tom Couturier / Arthaud Dumoulin  and seed 3  Pierre Perez Le Tiec / Guillaume Ledrap .

The match began in favor of Perez Le Tiec and Ledrap. Playing with great precision, making few mistakes, and consistently finding the right spots, they took control of the rallies and deservedly won the first set.  6/4 .

The scenario seems to get even more complicated for Couturier and Dumoulin when their opponents break serve at the beginning of the second set.

But this break will completely revive the match.

The exchanges become longer and more physical. Gradually, Tom Couturier and Arthaud Dumoulin reduce their mistakes, become more aggressive in their transitions, and take more of the net.

As they serve for the set, they are immediately broken back. Undeterred, they launch another attack and secure another break to level the match at one set apiece.  7/5 .

In the third set, the second seed struck early with a quick break. Despite several missed opportunities to double-break, Couturier and Dumoulin maintained control of the match and closed it out.  6/3 .

The final will therefore pit the two main headliners of the tournament against each other:

 Simon Wagner / Charles Gortzounian  vs  Tom Couturier / Arthaud Dumoulin 

A match between the two favorites of the draw, with on one side the regularity shown by Wagner and Gortzounian since the beginning of the weekend, and on the other the ability to react demonstrated by Couturier and Dumoulin.
