Le P1500 ladies PadelShot Metz offered us an intense first day, full of surprises, confirmations and twists. As the semi-finals approach, four pairs stand out to try to secure their place in the final. And good news: the matches will be broadcast live on Padel MagTV !
Denécheau / Bergaud: the pair in form
La seeded 1, made of Jennifer Denécheau and Laurine Bergaud, continues to roll out its padel without a hitch. After a perfectly controlled entry into the competition (6/2 6/2) against Pauline Robat and Juliette Sirgant, they then flew over their quarter-final facing Anaïs Lafuente and Loan Boudon (6 / 1 6 / 0). In two games, they have only let five small games slip away.
They will find in semi final a little surprise: Elise David-Bordier and Alicia Keppenne (TS6). The latter have carried out a solid background, notably by dominating the seeded 4, Clara Bellussi / Aurore Désert, on the score of 6 / 4 6 / 2 A deserved qualification after a more contested victory in the eighth (6/2 7/5) against Fostier / Decker.
Senjean and Tonda on their way
In the upper part of the table, the seeded 2, Cassandra Senjean and Charlyne Tonda, also confirmed its status. Easy in the first round (6 / 1 6 / 1), they then dismissed Alice Aznar and Marie-Julie Barbier (6 / 3 6 / 1) in the quarter-finals. A confident pair, who have conceded only six games since the start of the tournament.
Barla / Lambert Agosti: the crazy match of the tournament
But the big shock of the day remains without a doubt the one opposing the seeded 5, Kimy Barla / Lou Lambert Agosti, at TS3, Melanie Ros / Steffi Merah and a match with many twists and turns. Barla and Lambert dominate the first round 6/2 and seem to be heading straight for victory. But Ros and Merah change strategy and impose themselves 6/4 in the second. In a third electric set, the TS3 leads 5/2…before cracking.
Lou Lambert Agosti, mentally impressive, puts his team back in the game, lines up the winning points until equalizing at 5/5, then 6/5, before giving up the break again (6/6). But in the tie-breaker, the TS5 ends up winning 7 / 6 (2)A mental victory which opens the doors to an explosive semi-final against Senjean / Tonda.

Two high-level semi-finals to follow live
The two semi-final matches are now known:
- Denécheau / Bergaud (TS1) vs David-Bordier / Keppenne (TS6)

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
