Inscriptions closed

Registrations closed yesterday evening at 23:59 p.m., in accordance with the established regulations:

  • 18 teams were admitted directly into the final table
  • 14 teams were admitted to qualifying for the Gentlemen, compared to 7 for the Ladies
  • Several teams are on the waiting list for the Gentlemen

This list will be completed by the addition of several wild-cards distributed by the federation and the host club: for both men and women, the FFT will issue two invitations for the final draw and one for the qualifications, while the host club may also award a wild-card for the qualifiers.

The final list will be communicated next week.

Schedules

  • Qualifications will begin on Friday May 10 at 13 p.m. with the group stage.
  • The final draw will start on Saturday May 11 at 9 a.m. with the round of XNUMX.
  • The tournament will end on Sunday May 12 with the first semi-finals scheduled for 9 a.m. followed by the finals in the afternoon.

Léa Godallier and Mélissa Martin as headliners

On the Ladies side, Léa Godallier makes his return in P2000 alongside Melissa Martin. The two players will be among the big favorites, just like Tiffany Phaysouphanh et Fiona Ligi, finalists of the first P2000 of the season at Carquefou.

Among the other top seeds, several pairs will be able to play spoilsport like Ros/Maligo, Sireix/Bahurel, Tonda/Duchêne or even Denecheau/Lefevre. In the round of 16, an All-Star association could well do damage to the table: Laura Clergue et Emilie Loit.

Benjamin Grué with the 93rd player in the world

Among the gentlemen, Max Moreau et Johan Bergeron will be the men to be knocked down in the table. A formidable team which should be selected with the Blues in preparation for the European Championships. To thwart them, Benjamin Grue can count on the services of Miguel Gonzalez Garcia, 93rd player in the world in the FIP ranking. The Spaniard, a powerful left-wing player, notably reached the second round of the P1 in Acapulco.

Arthur Hugounenq et Pierre-Vincent, titled at P1000 of PadelShot Saint-Etienne, will act as serious outsiders in the company of the pairs Sanchez/Rouanet et Raichman/Inzerillo. A little further, five teams stand less than five points in pairs weight: Wagner/Cancel, Armagnac/Mannarino, Garcia/Muesser, Forçin/De Meyer et Moura/The Belly.
