As we announced to you, there was only one semi-final at the P2000 PadelShot Caen, after the abandonment of the Theard/Pech pair. It is therefore Maxime Moreau et Johan Bergeron that we found on the central track in Normandy, opposed to Dorian DeMeyer and at the local Maxime Forcin.

Dorian De Meyer and Maxime Forcin were still undefeated on French soil, despite some cold sweats the day before against the bombers Pierre-Vincent et Arthur Hugounenq. Internationally, they had only fallen once… it was in Egypt, last month, against Max Moreau and Johan Bergeron.

So it was revenge during this semi-final. In the first set, Johan Bergeron and Maxime Moreau were simply high top in all play compartments. We could have noted the impressive defense of the Bergeron/Moreau pair who pushed Dorian De Meyer and Maxime Forcin into error on numerous occasions. 6/2 in the first round and a hell of an option taken by the 1st seed in this tournament.

There was a little more revolt in the second set from De Meyer / Forcin. However, if they did not fall behind in the score, they did not manage to win the slightest break point throughout the meeting. Opposite, it was not the same since there was 9 break opportunities in all, for only 3 converts. Despite everything, this was enough for Jo Bergeron and Max Moreau who broke at the best moment in the second round and went to get their ticket for the final.

Victory 6/2 6/3 in 53 minutes of play!

Max Moreau and Johan Bergeron therefore advance to the final. If successful, this could be the 8th title in P2000 for Jo Bergeron and the very first for Max Moreau, who only played one final in 2021 at the Pyramids, lost to Bastien Blanqué et Thomas Leygue.

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
