The first was scheduled for a weekend at the end of March; In the event of force majeure, Christophe Henry and Alexandre Seyller finally found themselves partners this weekend, and rightly so! 1st of chore in qualifying Saturday morning, the 2 teachers of the 4Padel Strasbourg won the last point on Sunday to garner a first common success.

The Strasbourg center team had every reason to be satisfied this Sunday afternoon. The 1st “post-containment” tournament was a success, as evidenced by: a quality and numerous plateau (18 teams), site management controlled throughout the weekend (health regulations oblige) and smiles on all faces!

If the seeds of qualifying have mastered Saturday, it was the cold shower from the quarterfinals where only the seed 1 (Alexis Clément & Olivier Stauffer) manages to pass the pitfall. Facing the qualified Brice Ludwig & Maxime Roman, however, the march was too high in the 1/2 final despite a fierce fight in 2 sets (a racket paid the price ...).

In the other part of the table, the future winners had to work in 2 tight sets against the solid pair Charles Georg & Yannis Muesser who had flown over their 1/4 final in the morning. In the final, with a few nice points to the key, it’s therefore Christophe Henry and Alexandre Seyller who were the strongest to conclude this nice weekend of padel.

If the end of the summer promises to be rather calm in terms of 4-person competitionsPadel Strasbourg, the start of the school year is now being prepared with a P500 Men announced for the weekend of September 19/20 and a tournament (or +) will then be scheduled each month.

Even though he discovered the padel about ten years ago in Italy, Vincent only devoted himself to it after too many “firsts” in tennis tournaments. Not much better at bandeja, he was retrained as referee, the only way to still be present at the time of the final! A lover of sport in general, this Norman expatriate in Alsace will try to make you live the news of the Padel in the “Great East”.
