The 2027 FFT calendar marks a turning point in the structure of French padel. Beyond the simple succession of dates, the French Tennis Federation is actually preparing a general upgrade of its national competitions. The P1500 tournaments will become P2000 tournaments, while the current P2000 tournaments will evolve into...  P3000  over several stages of FFT Padel TourThis new season will also be marked by a densification of the international calendar organized in France.

The P2000s become P3000s: the big change of the season

This is the main piece of information in this 2027 calendar: the FFT Padel Tour It's taking things up a notch. Several steps have been announced in  P2000 tournaments this season are now switching to the P3000 format. .

Concretely, this means:

  •  more points FFT awards
  • of the  prize money  reviewed at the  rise
  • another  enhanced attractiveness  for the best French players
  • an even more competitive national hierarchy

By 2026, the P2000 tournaments already brought together the cream of French pairs. The FFT is therefore responding to a sporting reality: the French circuit is becoming too competitive to maintain the same standards as two or three seasons ago.

Another consequence is that the P1500s will now move up to P2000. This intermediate transition will raise the average level of national competitions while creating a real step between the P1000s and the French elite.

The French Championships at the heart of the calendar

The  French Championships , now classified as P3000, will be listed in  October 2027 They will be organized in parallel with the French Championships. Padel Wheelchair. The French +45 Championships are also maintained with a P1500 ranking.

For young people, the FFT continues its development with:

  • The U12 Interleague tournament will take place from August 23rd to 25th, 2027.
  • the U14 competitions from August 25th to 27th, 2027
  • The U16 and U18 competitions will take place from August 27th to 29th, 2027.

The youth categories thus continue to be structured progressively with differentiated point levels:

  • P100 for U12s
  • P250 for U14s
  • P500 for U16s
  • P1000 for U18s

The FFT therefore confirms its commitment to accelerating the detection and support of younger generations.

France is increasingly present on the international circuit

The calendar also shows a stronger presence of international tournaments in France. Several FIP Bronze and Silver tournaments are scheduled during the season, including:

  • à  Bandol  (FIP Silver) in June 2026
  • à  Marnes-la-Coquette  (FIP Silver) in September 2026

The FFT also retains the limitation on the number of P1000 tournaments that can be organised over certain periods, with a maximum set at five men's P1000 tournaments and two women's P1000 tournaments simultaneously depending on the calendar windows.

A 2027 season designed to professionalize the French circuit

Beyond the dates, this calendar primarily reveals a  clear federal strategy  : to strengthen the top level of French tennis. By progressively transforming P1500s into P2000s and then some P2000s into P3000s, the FFT is creating a  more coherent pyramid  between high-level amateur competition and the international circuit. This evolution could also have a direct impact on the best French pairs. With more points, the  French players will need to travel less frequently.  international teams to maintain their ranking. The 2027 season is shaping up to be a new  A year full of promise.  A more structured, more legible, and above all, national circuit  more competitive than ever .

Since discovering padel in Andorra almost 10 years ago, it has shaped my life with tournaments, new rackets, and new friends. I love watching pro tournaments and drawing inspiration from them, and if I had to pick a role model, it would be Juan Lebrón. Oh, I have a feeling I'm going to make some friends! ;)
