Roller coaster… Here is the best qualifier to describe the Sunday experienced by the Messina pair: 2 points from elimination and cup in hand in the end. Beyond the final result, the quality of the tournament and the welcome of the team 4Padel was welcomed by all!

Following the qualifiers on Saturday and as expected, 2 of the qualifying tickets for the final draw on Sunday were won by Christophe Henry / Jordan Ruivo et Nicolas Gruber / Lucas Schloesslin. For the other 2, Caspar / Hue confirmed their rank while Neff / Jacky won the precious sesame, despite their neophyte status.

This Sunday morning, therefore, there were 8 teams on the starting line with the sole desire to be the big winners at the end of the event. And from the morning draw, chance decided to play a very nasty trick with 2 of the favorite teams: Larose / Macchi was opposed to Henry / Ruivo !

The spectators present from the morning therefore had the right to a final before time with twists, hooks and panache. If the favorites took the 1st set, the response was scathing from the outsiders with a 6/1. The breathless exchanges continued until 9/8 in favor of the Messin duo. It was then that a violent stroke of fate came to put an end to the game: a winning strip dashing the hopes of Henry/Ruivo.

Kohlmann/Obert, Mootz/Muesser & Caspar/Hue also emerged victorious from their 1/4 final. Macchi/Larose took the best of the last cities before getting rid of the young pair Mootz/Muesser in the final, in order to emerge victorious from this P500, their first of the year.

Side 4Padel, Alexis Clément and his team will meet the competitors next month, the weekend of 17/18 October for a P250 Women and a P250 Men !

Larose/Macchi cup in hands to celebrate their victory.

Even though he discovered the padel about ten years ago in Italy, Vincent only devoted himself to it after too many “firsts” in tennis tournaments. Not much better at bandeja, he was retrained as referee, the only way to still be present at the time of the final! A lover of sport in general, this Norman expatriate in Alsace will try to make you live the news of the Padel in the “Great East”.
