Frederic Richeme, the referee of the P500 Open in Pau, authorized the registration of the pair Godallier / Martin, the 2nd French pair (1st in terms of points). She finished 4th. But above all, this tournament allowed our French pair to play and train before the international deadlines in Spain.

Fred tells us:

The best French players have their place in the men's p500 tournaments. Léa Godallier and Mélissa Martin finished 4th in the tournament. That is to say !

But beyond the results and the figures, they accumulate experience in match situations. For the administrative side, the tournament committee validated their participation. The men's pairs were notified by email in advance. We have had no negative response. Quite the contrary!

So I made a TMC board with a draw and came across the girls who won 6/0 6/0.

For the recording of the result, I went up one place all the other participants. The girls' matches were the most watched by spectators and especially spectators, surprised and curious to see this pair of ladies facing the gentlemen.

This is not a first. I had done it last year with Léa and Marianne Vandaele in P250 before the French championships… They were then second. Since then, a reflection has been launched in the region on the possibility of offering pairs of ladies the possibility of integrating men's tournaments.
