The FFT has a incredible luck: in 2014, the wave padel is forming. Whatever she does, the padel is growing all over the world. And France is no exception. His greatest luck: his clubs and managers believe in it and are on the front lines.

And despite numerous warnings, France has a different policy from emerging countries like Sweden. Should we draw more inspiration from it?

So yes, if this is measured in the short term, France has better results at international events. And Sweden is still behind. Good for us, but sometimes beware of appearances.

The impression of many actors of the padel : we put the cart before the horse.

The FFT helps our best French players. The France team can benefit from the strength of its Federation. But let us nonetheless remember that the level acquired by today's players: they owe it above all to themselves and to their courage. It is a chance for the FFT to have these young people who fight for their passion.

Is FFT too focused on the elite part? She must obviously continue what she is doing. But shouldn't she better prepare for the future with the creation of players from padel. Sweden is building up a huge base of padel, enthusiasts, initiates. The padel popularized by the grassroots and not by the elite of padel Swedish.

The work of the French clubs is incredible. But one can have the impression that these great promoters of padel French people are sometimes neglected, forgotten… Worse: that we want to tell them to stop this promotional work.

Before any other strategy or desire, the FFT should almost first put the package on the communication of this sport before investing (and that's very good anyway) on the almost systematic establishment of a field of padel in affiliated clubs without any real serious study on the geographical area and its needs or on an elite French circuit which has shown its limits and which must be completely rethought.

The exceptional Pyramids tournament held last September was certainly one of the greatest successes for the FFT. With clubs and partners, she can therefore do exceptional things.

The investment is there. But the strategy must be reviewed by the FFT. What if it started by delegating much more scholarships to the clubs to develop the padel ?

Why ? We are justin its infancy. We must remain modest and talk to the grassroots, to all new entrants.

The FFT needs glitter, but it should above all start at the beginning: Trust those who it owes the success of our sport in France and carry out major national advertising campaigns on this sport.
