Padel Around launches a table of levels of padel

The Padel Around offers a table of levels of padel common to all players and all clubs.

All players from Padel and clubs find use in calculating levels of play whatever the mode of practice, in friendly games or in tournaments. Padel Around, the community application intended to facilitate the practice of padel and two clubs in the Bordeaux region, the Big Padel (Mérignac 33) and Padel Touch (soon on La Teste 33), have imagined a table with levels to allow players to assess themselves.

1 / Propose the same levels for all players in all clubs

You arrive somewhere to play a game, what a comfort to be able to immediately announce, “I have the level…” and to meet up with partners of your level. Ditto, when you start, it is not always easy to know your level. However, it is essential to participate in games with players of his level. This new level system is available to clubs and players and in version 3.1 of the application Padel Around which is available since today.

“We wanted to develop a measurement system that allows us to situate ourselves in relation to other players. It is a strong stake to develop a harmonious practice of this sport in full expansion. The more we will be using them, the easier it will be for players and clubs to organize games.» says Stéphane Vergnères, founder of Padel Around with David Beynel.

2 / How do the levels work?

Here is the list of 10 levels proposed with the list of clubs that will start using them in their centers

The Padel Around will offer exactly the same levels in its version 3.1 which has just been released.

3 / The benefits of turning a game level into a common standard

The benefits are many for everyone, be it clubs or players. This is to create a reference so that all clubs and players can use the same evaluation criteria.

For clubs, this new measurement system will:

- facilitate access to practice for all players, from beginner to expert

- improve the quality of games and the excitement around sport

- simplify the organization of events

For players, it will have the advantage of:

- stick closer to the reality of his game by self-evaluation

- organize and participate in parts of his level, no more bad surprises or boring games

- evaluate its progress over time

4 / Bring together the actors of Padel around a common goal

Nearly 20 clubs from all over France are already following this initiative. This clearly indicates that creating consistency is a strong expectation of professionals in the padel. We hope that many more will follow this collective initiative. We all have the same goal: to develop the practice of padel in France.
