Padel District: a new premium padel club opens in Englos near Lille in September 2025

Padel continues to attract fans in the Lille metropolitan area, and an ambitious new structure is about to see the light of day: Padel District, a club dedicated to the practice of padel, will open its doors at the start of the 2025 school year in the commercial area Englos – The Giants.

A place designed for all padel enthusiasts

With 9 high-end padel courts, clubhouse with sports bar, fitness area and training room to host businesses or events, Padel District positions itself as a comprehensive and innovative venue. The project aims to meet the expectations of a wide audience, from beginner players to regular competitors.

Thought in a spirit of conviviality and respect, the club wishes to encourage exchanges between practitioners and highlight theplayful and inclusive aspect padel. “Particular attention will be paid to the female participation, still too low in France (10% of licensees), compared to countries like Spain (40%)” the founders explain to us. A padel school will also be set up to introduce the youngest and support players in their progress.

To ensure optimal playing conditions throughout the year, the club will offer:

9 meters high ceiling, for maximum playing comfort
An isolated room and air-conditioned, allowing all-season practice
A warm bar-restaurant, to extend the experience off the field

Sustainable infrastructure, benefiting from the BPI Green Guarantee, as part of an approach of corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSR)

A strategic location in the Lille metropolitan area

The future club will be located in Sequential, within the dynamic Englos Les Géants shopping area, just 10 minutes from the center of Lille. He will benefit from a parking with more than 60 spaces, facilitating access for all visitors.

In a context of growing demand for the practice of padel, and facing the scarcity of available land, especially in the evening, Padel District intends to meet this need with a high-quality and accessible offer.

A well-advanced and sustainably designed project

The choice of rehabilitate an existing building helps limit environmental impact while accelerating implementation. work has already started, with an opening planned for the2025 autumn.

Founders passionate about padel

Timothy Paindavoine, an entrepreneur from Lille, founded and managed the communications agency Kréalid before selling it in 2023 to devote himself fully to Padel District. Long-time tennis player, he discovered padel more than ten years ago and fell under the spell of this sport which he judges both fun and unifying. Heavily involved in the metropolitan padel community, he aims to create a place that fully meets the expectations of players, with an emphasis on the club spirit, still too little present in certain structures.

For its part, Maël Brochet discovered padel when he moved to Madrid at the age of 17. Fascinated by the quality of Spanish infrastructure and friendly culture of Iberian padel, he sets himself a goal: import this quality into FranceHe initiates the project Padel District with Timothée during his entrepreneurship studies. Now a graduate, he is preparing to share his Madrid experience with the people of Lille.
