What if we could live the FIP circuit without being a professional player? This is the slightly crazy bet that they have taken Yohan Borgel, French TFP certified trainer, and Samy Charni, coach at theSouth Africa. Long-time friends and padel enthusiasts, they decided to travel to several international tournaments across India and Reunion Island, with a simple objective: show that you don't have to be a pro to experience the FIP Tour from the inside.

Their project, called Padel FIP Trotters, combines competition, travel and discovery. “We are not professionals, but we want to share what we experience, to show that everyone can embark on the adventure. This circuit is not only about high level, it is also about encounters, emotions and a real passion,” confides Yohan Borgel.

The duo started their journey at FIP Bronze India – Bangalore, where he won two matches to reach the quarter-finalsA symbolic performance, driven by a warm local atmosphere and the enthusiasm of a still-young community. In India, padel is in full bloom: few courts, almost no experienced coaches, but an overflowing passion. "Here, players are fighting to make their sport exist. There is incredible energy, a desire to progress at all costs," says Samy Charni.

On Padel FIP Trotters will continue their journey through several tournaments: the FIP Silver India – Hyderabad, then two steps to Réunion, in Saint-Denis and Saint-Paul. Each destination will be an opportunity to discover a new padel culture and meet enthusiasts from all over the world.

The project is supported by several loyal partners: Playtouch (financial support), Besport et Pulse Sport (equipment), as well as Isla Padel, supplier of official textiles. Their motto, “Very Padel Trip”, sums up their approach well: seriousness on the track, but always the spirit of travel and curiosity.

Beyond the results, Yohan Borgel and Samy Charni want to convey a simple message: padel doesn't just belong to the pros. It's a open, universal sport, capable of creating links between cultures. Their adventure can be followed on Instagram (@padel_fip_trotters), where they share each stage of their journey, between matches, discoveries and moments of humor.
