Located in Angoulême, Padel Spot is establishing itself as a key player in the development of padel in Charente. Founded in 2020, the club has experienced steady growth, going from two to seven indoor courts, and is preparing to take a new step by welcoming the first P1000 tournament in CharenteAn ambitious project that is part of a strong regional dynamic around this booming sport.
Between two lockdowns...
Born in 2020 between two lockdowns, Padel Spot has established itself in just a few years as a central padel venue in Charente. When it opened, the complex had only two indoor courts. Word of mouth and the friendly atmosphere quickly attracted a diverse audience, from enthusiasts to new players.
In 2022, two new tracks were added to meet growing demand. Two years later, at the end of 2024, three additional courses were inaugurated, bringing the total to seven indoor slopes. Constant progress for a club that continues to structure and evolve.
The expansion continues with the planned opening, in December 2025, of a multi-sports surface dedicated to badminton, pickleball and 3x3 basketball. A new step that confirms the club's desire to diversify its activities while maintaining the spirit Padel Spot: sport, conviviality and sharing.

The site is now structured around two distinct spacesThe first, leisure-oriented, includes a snack bar, club house, Bloc Spot (an indoor climbing area) and three air-conditioned and heated courses. The second, dedicated to competition, has four fields with a ceiling height of 9,50 meters and exit zones on each track. This is where the future multi-sports area will appear.
The first P1000
The year 2025 will mark an important milestone for the club, which will welcome mid-November the first P1000 ever organized in CharenteThis national event will bring together several of the best French pairs, supported by a solid network of local and institutional partners.
"Hosting a P1000 is recognition of the work accomplished, but also a springboard for the future," confides the management team. "It's proof that Charente has its place on the French padel map."
Beyond infrastructure, Padel Spot stands out for its club identity. Here, players come as much for the competition as for the conviviality. Welcoming, simplicity, and the joy of the game remain at the heart of the project.
With its seven sites, a growing community and ambitious projects, Padel Spot has established itself as a major player in Charente padel, faithful to a philosophy: moving forward without rushing, but always one step ahead.
