Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini, it is now official. The two players have announced their association for 2025 on their social networks. An expected confirmation, but which marks a new chapter in their respective careers.
Paquito Navarro, currently 11th in the world, will team up with Lucas Bergamini, ranked 16th in the world. On paper, Paquito moves from a partnership with Pablo Cardona, 15th in the world, to that of the Brazilian Bergamini, 16th in the world. While this change does not appear spectacular in terms of ranking, it is at the level of the players' profiles that the difference is felt.
Originally from Merida, Spain, Pablo Cardona is a player with an imposing frame (1,88 m), left-handed and known for his style aggressive, capable of hitting hard. Conversely, Lucas Bergamini, smaller in size, has already demonstrated his effectiveness alongside Javier Garrido. Their complementarity will be decisive: Can Paquito and Bergamini establish themselves among the world's best pairs?
Two well-known coaches from the circuit will accompany this new pair: Ramiro Choya et Juanjo Gutiérrez, the latter also being the coach of the Spanish men's team.

It remains to be seen whether this new association will be able to play a leading role on the circuit. The answer will come quickly, with the first stage of the professional circuit Premier Padel, which will be held in a month in Saudi Arabia.
Paquito Navarro shared on his social networks:
“We are very happy to announce our union to fight great battles, with a single goal: to give our all. 2025, we look forward to meeting you.”
