They lost, yes. But  Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini  did not leave the track without making an impression. On the track, he grumbles, he grimaces, he makes the spectators laugh, sometimes even the ball boys. He can  jump for joy at a winning point then  collapse to the ground on a missed volley , as if the world had just collapsed.

But that's precisely why we love him: because he  lives every match like a Greek tragedy , with passion, exaggeration, and above all  a lot of sincerity .

A beautiful battle… and an honorable defeat

Faced with  world number 2 in great shape , Paquito and Bergamini have nothing to be ashamed of. They even have  endangered their opponents , especially in the second set, where they led before giving in at the last minute. Final score:  6 / 3 7 / 5  for Chingotto / Galán, who go to the final.
