Javi Leal and Fran Guerrero  have once again taken over  Juan Tello and Pablo Cardona  by winning 6/3 6/3 in just over an hour.

The Spaniards delivered a solid performance, relying on a  Leal is overpowering on the smash  and always present in key moments. Opposite, Tello and Cardona never knew how to find the fault:  0 break point converted . Tello, however inspired in his diagonal, came across a  Guerrero intractable .

As in Madrid, the sanction falls

This duel had a feeling of déjà vu.  A week ago in Madrid , the two pairs had already met in the round of 16, with Leal and Guerrero also winning after a tough fight. This time, the scenario was clearer, proving that the momentum is clearly on the Spanish side.

New disappointment for Tello and Cardona

This is  third defeat in a row in the last 16  for Tello and Cardona, however  seeded 8 . Admittedly, the draw wasn't kind to them, as they twice came up against one of the most in-form pairs of the moment. But this latest poor performance highlights above all that  alchemy does not take yet  between the two players.

Not long ago, each shone with his former partner:  Tello with Di Nenno ,  Cardona with Augsburger Today, the duo is struggling to get off the ground. The next meeting, in Germany, will already be crucial:  they must quickly find results , otherwise their project will be seriously weakened.
